Drivers' Privacy Protection Act

In late 2006, Metro-North Railroad tried to force its employees to sign a Form D authorization permanently waiving their right to protect the privacy of their driver's license information. On behalf of all the unions, we stood up and fought back in federal court, obtaining a Judgment forcing Metro-North to withdraw the Form D.

However, if you drive as part of your job on Metro-North, Metro-North still may be violating your rights under the Drivers' Privacy Protection Act (DPPA). Send us your information so we can investigate if Metro-North has violated your DPPA rights.
